Glacier Gorge Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado; March 10-13, 1998

Glacier Gorge is a nifty place with a moderate hike in and quite a few ice climbs of varying difficulty.

A little mishap in Northern New Mexico (that's our car on the left) put this trip in jeopardy but a new rental car and 2 boring days later we found ourselves back on track for a few days of climbing.

We haven't had much snow in the East in recent winters so I'd like to say I enjoyed "wallowing" through this western powder, but Mother taught me not to lie...

We did manage to swim through the snow and climb some fun stuff like this rather windy climb John is following on.
